How To Make Ayurvedic Herbal Tea For Healthy Life (Step By Step)

Tea is essential drinks for todays life.India is famous for its Tea ,as the quality and taste of Indian tea is awesome. Check out the step by step ayurvedic tea recipe here with benefits.

In Ayurveda we recommended Tea for each body constitution like VATA,PITTA and KAPHA(TRIDOSHA). Ayurveda  tea is good for health and enhances appetite as it contains Herbs and Spices to enhance taste and palatability .Apart from three dosha type there is a separate tea MINT Tea,Herbal  which is recommended for all body type(Prakriti).

NOTE:- Add tea leaf if you like, along with other spices as per your taste.

Ayurvedic Tea Recipe

1. Tea for Vata Constitution:

INGREDIENTSPROCESSAFFECTING VPK
*1/4 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated  

*1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

*1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

*1/4 teaspoon ajwan

*1 cup water .

*BoiI  water and add  spices.

*Turn off the heat 

*Wait  for a few minutes. Sweeten according to taste.

*Strain and add sugar according to taste.

*Pacifies vata.

 

In Ayurveda there are three type of dosha who balances our body  when they are in equilibrium state,when any one of it get imbalance  then our body leads to diseases,ayurvedic medicines /herbal medicines and diet along with following of daily routine  balances these imbalances VATA,PITTA and KAPHA Dosha.

Aggrevated Vata tends to dry skin,hair,dislike of cold,craked lips,constipation,anxiety,insomnia,forgetfulness,and lethargy.

Many single or compound herbs used to treat Vata imbalance and pacify them.

This Vata tea is recommended in such conditions and found useful. 

2. Tea for Piita Constitution

INGREDIENTSPROCESSAFFECTING VPK
*1/4 teaspoon cumin

*1/4 teaspoon coriander

*1/4 teaspoon fennel

*1/4 teaspoon rose petals 

*1/4 teaspoon fresh cilantro

* 1 cup water

*Boil the water and add the spices

*Turn off the heat and cover..

*Let it wait for 5 minutes.

* Strain and add sugar/HOENY

*Stimulates digestion.. 

*Pacifies Pitta

According classical ayurvedic texts it is believed that PITA dosha is responsible for  controlling metabolism, digestion and immune system.

Aggravated PITA leads to Indigestion, skin rashes,burning sensation in body,heart burn,hyperacidity,loose stool,and acne,or blood disorders.

Proper diet n medicines relieves these complications.Pitta tea is recommended in such cases and very useful to relieves such complications.

3. Tea for Kapha Constitution:

INGREDIENTSPROCESSAFFECTING VPK
*1/4 teaspoon dry ginger powder

*1/3 teaspoon ground cloves

*1/4 teaspoon dill seed powder

*1/4/a teaspoon fenugreek seed 

*1 cup water

*Boil water and add  spices. *Cover, turn off the heat and wait for few minutes. Strain it and its ready for use.*Especially pacifies kapha.

Due to aggravation of KAPHA there are so many disease like Diabetes,Obesity,arthritis,Asthma,cold and cough occurs.

For relieving such complications this Kapha tea is recommended to pacify Kapha dosha.

Note:- any one can take this TEA who suffer from vata or piita or kapha dosha .

Dose -2-3 time in 24 hours.do not use more cup of tea without consulting any Ayurveda expert.

4. Herbal Tea

INGREDIENTSPROCESSAFFECTING VPK
*3 cups water

 4 cloves

*2 pinches ground nutmeg

*2 pinches ground cinnamon 

*2 pinches ground cardamom 

*1/2 piece  ginger

*1 teaspoon black tea (or dandelion root or lemon grass)

* 1 cup milk

*2 teaspoons sweetener of your choice

*Boil  water with  spices for 2 minutes. 

*Add  tea and simmer for two minutes.

*Add  milk and heat .

*Add sweetener and serve.

*You may vary the amounts of the milk and sugar according to taste and your constitutin.

*Kapha lots,you should go easy on   milk and sugar .

5. Mint Tea

INGREDIENTSPROCESSAFFECTING VPK
*1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated  *3 pinches powdered ginger

*3 pinches ground cardamom 

*1 stick cinnamon

*2 pinches nutmeg powder

*1 teaspoon coriander seeds

* 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

*1/2 cup fresh mint leaves 

*1 tablespoon dried mint

* 3-4 whole cloves

*3 cups water 

*1 cup milk

*Boil  water and add  tea, spices and milk. 

* Strain and serve.
